More Valentines

Saturday, February 26, 2011

I am excited to post the rest of the Valentine's Day cards I made.  All of the cards I made were for kids.  Again, I used the Create-a-Critter Cartridge for them.  Out of all of the cartridges I own so far (only 12), this is by far my favorite!  I can't get past all of the cute critters and sayings on it.  But... I've decided I really should use some of the others too.  So I am dedicated to creating and showing some pictures of projects I've made with them soon!

I used the Tiny Mosaic (CB), Divine Swirls (CB) and Diamonds & Dots (Quickutz) embossing folders.  The letters were all cut from Lyrical Letters.  The hearts were punched with my double heart punch.  I also used a corner punch (I'm can't remember who it is made by) and a Fiskars scalloped border punch to at some decorative details.  And of course they all have a bit of sparkle!  Don't forget to check back in a few days for something completely different.  *~*Thanks for looking*~*

My First Post

Monday, February 21, 2011

This is my very first post! My hope is that this blog will become a great way for me to show my projects and hopefully inspire some of you too! I got a Cricut Expression and a Cuttlebug for Christmas this past year.  I am fairly new to both of them, but have loved them so far! The first projects I made were Valentine's Day cards.  Here are a few and I will post a few more in a couple of days!

All of the critters (and the Love bug saying) were cut from Create-a-Critter.  I used the divine swirls (CB), swiss dots (CB) and floral fantasy (CB) embossing folders.  The hearts were cut out with a double punch (it cuts both hearts, small and big, at once).  The letters are cut from the Lyrical Letters (Mine) & Classic Cricut Font (We Ruff You) cartridges.  I'm so excited you have decided to check out my blog.  I hope you will visit again!
