Last Mother's Day Card

Saturday, May 14, 2011

Hopefully everyone has had a wonderful week and the blogger issues haven't caused you too many problems! This is the last of my Mother's Day cards.  I made this one for my step-mom.  She loves gardening, so that is what I used for my inspiration.

The Inside

The red, white, green, and pink cardstock is all from The Paper Studio.  The purple cardstock is from a Provocraft stack. The designer paper is from a dollar pack at Target (I love these!).  The gems and larger pink flowers are from the Michaels dollar spot.  The other flowers are from Oriental Trading.  The ribbon is just from my stash. I used my Fiskars scallop border punch on the paper on the inside.  Of course I couldn't forget the sparkle - the glitter is Tulip fabric paint.

 Here are the measurements:
* Card Base - 5.5" x 4.25"
* Mat - 5.25" x 4"
* Designer Paper - 5" x 3.75"
* Square Pink Mat - 4.5" x 4.5"
* Square White Mat - 4.25" x 4.25"

The Cut:
Dragonfly - Create-a-Critter - Cut at 2.5"
